Composer
Gerry is best known as “the romantic” who writes beautiful ballads. Watch out. His songs get in your head and stay there. As a working musician he is known for writing songs that highlight the abilities of the musicians he works with. Both Wycliffe Gorden and Marcus Printup know the magic of someone who has written a piece with them in mind. Listen to Sannibel Breeze and you will hear him pay homage to the great Frank Foster. This harkens back to the hayday of jazz where musicians built on tunes of the greats as a way to honor them. Learn More.
