A Prolific Jazz Composer

Gerry is best known as “the romantic” who writes beautiful ballads.  Watch out. His songs get in your head and stay there. As a working musician, he is known for writing songs that highlight the musicians' abilities he works with. Both Wycliffe Gorden and Marcus Printup know the magic of someone who has written a piece with them in mind.  Listen to Sanibel Breeze, and you will hear him pay homage to the great Frank Foster.
